Getting the shape and heat right
We don’t just chop the ends off a tube and call it a day. We can tweak the actual geometry to match your specific bending jig. Plus, we dial in the wattage and voltage to match your power supply so you hit your target temperature fast. We stick with shortwave IR here because it just punches through glass way quicker than longwave does. But here is the catch: you have to watch your power density. If you cram too much wattage into a tiny tube, you’re basically asking for the filament to burn out. It’s too much stress on the quartz. We spend the time balancing that electrical load so your lamps actually last.
Making installation a breeze
Nobody wants to spend hours rewiring a machine. We offer a bunch of different end-cap options—whether you want specific lead wires or something you can just plug in and go. We want these to be drop-in replacements. When a lamp fails on the line, you want it fixed in minutes, not hours. One last tip:keep your reflectors clean. It sounds simple, but if your reflectors are pitted or covered in grime, you’re throwing away about 30% of your heat. Worse, it puts extra strain on the lamp. Give them a scrub, and your gear will thank you.
