The things you need to watch
Clear the windshield before use. Infrared heats surfaces directly, and a cold pane can crack if the beam hits it too close. Keep the heater secured and upright, and never block the front vents. It’s designed for 12V vehicles; on 24V systems, you’ll need the matching step-down adapter. For the best feel, position the unit so the driver’s legs and feet get the main warmth, then tweak the angle until the cab feels evenly comfortable.
