In the world of Textile 4.0, we&amp;rsquo;ve stopped relying on giant &amp;ldquo;hot boxes&amp;rdquo; and started using precise IR emitters that hit exactly the right wavelengths.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trick with heat density&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;If you&amp;rsquo;re running a high-speed line, short-wave IR lamps are your best friend. They pack a lot of energy into a tiny space.&#xA;When you put a high-wattage tube over a narrow strip of fabric, the thermal response is almost instant. This is great because it means you can actually shorten your oven. But here&amp;rsquo;s the catch: if you crank up the wattage to speed things up, you&amp;rsquo;ve got to make sure your cooling fans can handle the blowback. If the machine frame gets too hot, your rails will warp, and then you&amp;rsquo;ve got a real mess on your hands.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Why quartz and halogen matter&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use halogen-filled quartz tubes because they keep the filament temperature steady. If the lamp sags even a little, it&amp;rsquo;s not parallel to the fabric anymore. That&amp;rsquo;s how you get hot spots and ruined rolls of material.&#xA;One last tip: keep an eye on your reflectors. Check the alignment every few months and wipe away the dust.
